Abstract

Birch berries, similar in shape and color to blueberries, for which they are often confused, have not yet gained us such popularity. And for nothing! In addition to the fact that the plant itself is less demanding to soil conditions and planting, frost-resistant and has a higher yield, its fruits contain many more vitamins and useful trace elements than the same berries blueberries. By the way, from the point of view of botany, the fruit of the iris is not a berry at all, but a fruit. After all, it belongs to the subfamily of apple trees.
